But I’m Not Racist!

In first grade, my daughter developed a crush on a young boy in her class. For the first time in her life, she deliberately withheld that sort of information from me. We were shocked to our core, and that one, tiny dinner conversation sent us on a course that would change our lives. This series documents that journey.
